I received this email today
To report my experience:
I registered and used the code (which I X'ed out, it looked unique). I would have stopped if they asked for any bank or credit card info, but they didn't. The code got me $20, which I'm about to try out on their tables.
So look out for an email in the account you had registered with Paradise.
You played poker in Paradise; we'd like to welcome you back to the game at the fastest growing poker site for US players: Sportsbook.com/poker.
And we'll pay you to try it.
The unique cash code below is worth up to $250. Create a Sportsbook.com account, then go to http://www.Sportsbook.com/freecash, enter the code and its value will be revealed with the funds instantly available in your new account :
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
So where will you spend it? Visit Sportsbook.com and download our new poker client. Or login and play Blackjack, 3 Card Poker Dice, Poker Side Bet -no download required.
Or use it to bet on the Super Bowl...
You don't need to spend anything to enter our Super Bowl Freeroll. We've got two VIP seats to this year's Big Game. To win, install our poker software and take a seat at the Super Bowl Freeroll table. But hurry, the last free qualifier is 6:00pm EST this Sunday, after that, it's $100 to enter.
One more thing: by playing poker for cash at Sportsbook.com now, you'll be automatically qualified to receive 100% credit for all of your old Paradise Frequent Player Points.
Frequent Player Points, cash, cool freerolls, credit cards accepted. Welcome to the new Sportsbook.com.

Well, they have a nice lobby - good game filtering. Their lowest limits are .10/.20 NL or .25/.50 L. 4 full tables of .10/.20NL going, acceptable players/flop.
The dealer at each table is their hot spokesmodel with huge avatar tits, which is nice. Graphics are decent. No animations. Windows do not pop to the front or chime when it's your turn. 4 color decks.
Basic functionality seems more like poker contests on beer sites than what we are used to, but, yaknow, free money. Still looking for a rake schedule.

Play seems to be fairly tight with a few fish. A guy overvalued his KQo at me twice in a round and he deemed me a "card catching cunt." (My avatar is female, haven't looked into changing it yet.)

I played a few rounds and won $7.30. I have $8.30 of my $27.30 balance available for withdrawal so you do have to clear it. Not sure what the clearance rate is, but it seems to be low and releases incrementally.

I got the same email as johnny. I didn't want to deposit anything though. They're just giving away 20 bucks? What's this about 250?

I think I used my points to enter tournaments or something before vacating Paradise for good.
You don't know how much you get until you sign up and use the code. You can get up to $250. I got $20. I suspect most of them are around $20. Any less and you wouldn't even have 1 full buyin for the lowest limit NL table.

If you got the same email I did, well, I had to create an account from scratch. It never said anything about my Paradise log in.

There's a thread on 2p2 where you could use your paradise login...but yeah I had to create a new one. Still waiting for PIN number. And the site seems ungodly slow.
