Couple hands from my home game
by flash » Fri Jan 12, 2007 4:44 pm
A couple hands from my home game:
It's a $10 buyin game and we had 7 players, players tend to be weak-average no maniacs.
First hand, it's still early put one guy is already out giving villain the big stack of ~6000 chips. I have roughly 4000 and the BB is 100.
The big stack is in the BB and I'm MP. It's folded to me and I limp with 44, everyone else folded.
Flop (t250): 8c 7s 4c
Villain: bets 150
Hero: raises 300 to 450
Villain: calls 300
Turn (t1150): 7d
Villain: raises 500
Hero: raises 800 to 1300
Villain: calls 800
River (t3750): 8s
Villain: all-in (my final ~2000)
Hero: ?
Second hand, later in the game the BB is up to 200 and I now have ~6000 it's. It's folded to me in the SB w/ AJs BB has ~4500.
Pre Flop
Hero: raises 400 to 600
Villain: calls 400
Flop: jh 3s 2d
Hero: bets 2000
Villain: raises 2000 and is all-in
Hero: ?

Your hole cards might help in the first hand.
Second hand, bet flop less, as played instacall.

Seriously I thought this was a joke.
LOL, can't do much without hole cards, but my instinct tells me ... raise more on the turn and call the river O_o
Second hand call, as ML said the flop bet doesn't need to be that large given the nature of the board.

First hand I called (obviously) and he showed a bluff, then got runner runner trips
Now I am confused...for about the 11,875th time in my life! I get confused a LOT!

No, NH, villain hit his miracle and let you get away from it.
