I'm learning that leading w/ trips/quads seems to pay the best. People don't put you on a big hand so they'll pay you off if they have a piece of it. If they don't have anything, you aren't going to get much anyway.

I can understand leading w/trips because we are vulnerable to straights, flushes, full houses. But we have the nut hand here, i'm slow playing this every time.

The point is that your opponents EXPECT you to slowplay. If you bet out they will call you. If they don't have anything, you don't lose anything, because they didn't have a hand they wanted to play for anyway.

Leading is the deceptive play most times. Lead the flop. Check the turn. Raising and checking this board looks like a J a huge amount of the time.
