Frann: bets $0.25
dogger69: calls $0.25
drifterca: calls $0.25 <- ... but then again, he calls . Since Frann folded on the turn, I doubt he would have raised me had I bet. So, it wouldn't have changed a lot in this particular hand...
mnio1: calls $0.25
pretrel: calls $0.25 ... and I could have raised here, but he'd definitely called this, right? The baby has fallen in the well already, so to speak...
----- TURN ----- [Ks Ah 9c][Jc] (Pot $4)

----- RIVER ----- [Ks Ah 9c Jc][2s] (Pot $9,5)

Wow raise raise raise raise raise the flop.
Did I say raise? I meant raise raise raise raise raise just because that J is a card you DON'T want to see.
Take this as a rule of thumb. 5 people in the pot, guarenteed someone has got two high cards and ANY other high card is cause for alarm. There absolutely 100% must beyond-any-doubt be a GSSD out there.
As played shut down when the J hits.

In that same neighbourhood...
I guess this was better? Wouldn't I have found the J on the turn, I probably would have folded. Though the J brought the danger of a straight. So cheap cruising afterwards...
And just two hands later or so...
This time I had a better kicker, but, again, there were those straight possibilities...
Oh, and, sfustsh, "As played shut down when the J hits." Fold? With top two pair? Or just calling down?

Opps forgot to answer your question about the other hand.
Top two pair might as well be a set of aces in this position. It's about relative hand strength. You're afraid of the straight, not someone spiking a set or something. Call it down but try to keep it under control on the dangerous board.
