What hand are you trying to make with that? And yes, I check fold flop as played. You're not weak, you're loose.

Gahhhh!
Ok.
BTW, I'm an STT'er aking the switch to cash games. Really, that limp is bad, even in a family pot? That would have been standard for me.
Thanks for the advice!

Don't raise K5 in the SB. Completing isn't terrible. Folding is good too. If you complete, you are looking to hit 2 top pair or some other monster hand.
Also, if you do complete, play it cautiously because it is a limped pot.. and don't build a pot OOP. Ie, c/c if often the best line in that spot.

Right.
I'm not raising that ever. I was just curious whether anybody does anything else there.

WTF. Just play 'em like aces and raise cause those motherfuckers don't come around often enough. That's right, I said it.

I wonder about PoorBill, he check/folds overpairs one day, and plays K5o like the nuts on others
Seriously though, if you are going to play it, your bluffing the whole way, so get in there raising, as those cards have no value at all. And don't be under the impression that making two pair is a monster, you can't slowplay it at all, and it's unlikely you can win a big pot with it when limped around as you'll always be concerned about a set. Save yourself headaches and play more tables if you are that bored.

Ok. New plan. Whenever I get K5o, I push preflop. Most of the time nobody's gonna call.
That settles it.
That settles it.

Be honest, you've never tried it. It might work.
