Even though I sat down a few hands ago, Eckgi has already established himself as one of those junk minraisers. I figured rather than call preflop and have no idea where I stand, I'd define my hand preflop.
So, I figure I'll just go to the felt with this bluff.
One question, just to make sure I'm not crazy insane. Do you ever pick a spot like this and establish that you're going to follow through with the bluff? I know it should be more read dependent...

Screw that, people play even worse up there...just glance through BBV on 2p2. They're still fish just with a bigger br.

Other than making the sin of bluffing at 25NL, this board is horrendous to bluff at. You have to think about what you are representing here. Did he call you with a pair ?
Also, you should be re-raising a lot more PF or just call in position.

IMO, bluffing isnt that much different at $25 NL than it is at $100 NL.

I don't know, I'm a freaking donkey.
Anyways, the other dude showed
:Jc:, and I take it down! I couldn't believe it. Really though, it was not one of my proudest moments.
Just so y'all know, the wife was not impressed.

Wow, I cannot believe you won that. A call, a raise, and a reraise preflop and I don't like your hand that much, not for pair value anyway. I call last raise and check fold flop, nothing doing. I must be way to passive for the NL25 game, Jesus.

Is it still called a bluff if you have the best hand the entire way?

hahahhaahha, good question! He does have 12 outs to beat me, so I'm barely the favorite.
Also, two things, 1st, I don't keep a real online BR to play anything higher than $25 NL. That's just the facts. We struggle big time for money, so I usually take out everything but enough to keep on grinding and building. It's a vicious cycle, but a man such as myself doesn't bullshit around when it comes to taking care of his family. Shit is hard enough for us, I don't see the point of struggling (worse than we are now) and having like an $8000+ BR.
Second thing, I'm in business right now thanks in part to a real ass hombre who shall remain nameless looking out for me. No brokeback bullshit, but this forum... I can't even begin to describe how much this place has changed my life (for the better.. yay online gambling!!). See for every 10 horror stories, you get one like mine.
