Login to your account and you will find $40. You can use this money to play on any of our cash games or tournaments and will only have to play 10 times the bonus in raked hands to claim the bonus. But don’t delay, you will only have until September 4th to complete the requirements for this bonus.
And there are other reasons we want you to come back! We have made many changes to our Players Club which should allow you to earn PartyPoints faster. We have revamped the points accumulation for all cash games and tournaments and made it easier to go from Blue to Silver to Gold. Click here for more details about the Players Club.
And of course there is the Monster! Monster prizepools and Monster jackpots! Don’t miss your opportunity for a Monster payday. Click here for Monster details.
Good luck – we look forward to seeing you at the tables.
Sincerely,
Mike O'Malley
Poker Room Manager

Hmmm. I didn't do the backgammon thing.
And I didn't notice BL's thread on the bonus until I posted mine.

I just re-read my comment and realized how you might have taken it. Sorry - I didn't mean anything towards you, all my irritation is directed at Party.

No problem. I didn't take it that way. Just thought you assumed I did the backgammon thing and they were trying to get their hundy back from me. I think I'll wait a day or two and give it a go.

I didn't see anyone in there who had the bonus removed from a deposit, though I probably will wait a bit longer before I go back. What really irritates the hell out of me isn't that they reversed the bonus, but that they didn't even bother to notify me they were debiting my account. What the fuck is up with that?!
There are a lot of bad analogies being thrown around, but to me it's cut and dry. It's exactly like a casino dipping in to your cash account to correct a mistake while you're asleep or the dealer taking chips back from your stake to correct an error while you're in the bathroom. That's just not acceptable. Obviously with so many accounts involved it's unreasonable for them to contact everyone individually and arrange a settlement. But they could very well send a goddamn form letter out by email with a standard settlement offer and alternatives.
I will be royally pissed if this complicates my next deposit. As far as I'm concerned, people like me who cashed out before they went all cat burglar should be in the clear. The reason being that Party audited those cashouts and approved them. You can't just suddenly decide to correct errors on people's next visit. Once you've signed off on winnings at the cashier and let people cash out your window of opportunity for correcting mistakes is gone.

I suspect Empire will start making inroads on them again, now that they have their old VIP programs back. The store's nothing special and it's much harder to earn points, but they never demote you and the monthly deposit bonus is nicer than many of Party's perks.

How does that work? I haven't played Empire in a long time.
If you're a Royal Flush Club member you get a 10% match on the first deposit of every month. (Or something like that) You need a ton of points, which I don't have. You get the square root of raked hands played (25 hands == 5 points) Oddly enough, it would seem to be a good deal for STT players, who get a point per buy-in plus bonuses for the number played in a day.
