Bonus Clearing Techniques

So I'm working on the latest Party bonus - $100 for 1000 raked hands. I just started playing 3/6 limit, and only 2 tables at once.
It's becoming clear that I will not release the bonus like this. I don't play enough hours, and I only 2-table, maybe 3.
My option is to pick it up at 3/6 - play more hours or more tables....OR I'm going to drop down and 4-table the 0.5/1 limits.
I'm taking option 2 because I do not want to go out of my normal routine at a high limit just to clear a bonus.
Is this standard? Do most of you drop to clear a bonus? Do you not bother with a bonus if you can't clear it at your normal tables/playing style?

2 hours of 4-tabling the 0.5/1 limits...746 hands...300 raked...+$40
I guess I'll stick to this to clear the bonus, then go back to normal 3/6 routine.
The real funny part was I picked one table, sat with $1000 and donked the hell out of it. I raised with any Jack and TOLD THEM I WAS DOING IT! I asked if anybody wanted to cap any round and would follow through.
Strange, but I actually won most of those. The only reason I ended up down $20 at that table was because all my great hands got fucked. Like JJ vs KQ on a T 9 J K 4 board. And of course there's always an Ace when I had KK. Well, only 2/5 times according to PT.

That's pretty much me now. I virtually ignore poker bonuses and work on a casino one occasionally when my normal tables are dry. There just aren't many bonuses that make up for the soft games you find at sites with lousy bonus offers if you're a single table player. I've got some I'll do eventually, but I gave up busting my hump to grind through them.

I've never had a problem clearing a Party bonus in time and I only play 1 $25 NL table at a time, or sometimes 2 if I'm feeling good. Takes some time though! Didn't get offered this latest one anyway.

Not everyone's noticed, but because the bonus clears so fast when you play multiple tables Party's really shortened the expiriation date on some of their offers. That, and the bonus attracts so many tight nits that you see significantly fewer flops on average.
There are a couple old threads from previous bonuses with people griping about it. I had to do a big chunk of one at the Stud8 tables, because it was impossible to finish it in time by single-tabling limit Hold'em.
They don't sound bad, but 1,000 raked hands can easily be more than forty table hours. (60-70 isn't out of the question at off-peak times depending on game conditions) Asking people to squeeze in an entire work week inside of two weeks, or even a month, is a bit much.

I assume you mean PL08. If that is the case I agree. I am clearing a bonus on Titan and I have found that $50 PL08 is about the best way to do it. Like caffiend I had pretty much given up on Bonuses, I like to relax and play. Trying to keep a bunch of tables up and play them all is to much like work. It seems that PLO8 makes headway into the bonus and I like to play it. So If I can find bonuses that I can clear while playing the way I like to play I will do so. I am not going to grind at it anymore.
