love it! on a serious note I made a tough fold against this guy with no read, I saw him donk it up a few hands later but still think this is a good fold, thoughts? I probably should have raised the flop to 40 but I thought I could get more money out of the 2 villians when original better bet the turn, but they both checked

Have to defend that hand on the flop, there's a bunch of cards that could fall to ruin your hand. Folding the river I'm not sure about, could either of these really hold a four? They'd have to show me, and a FH means that all Tens and Jacks are out which doesn't happen enough to make me fear it. Marginal whatever, but given you got to the river and there is decent chance you hold the winner I'd call it.

Villain does not need to be holding a four.

Sry, wrote that late last night and didnt even think about the counterfeit of your hand, yes fold river is ok, but I think you had the best hand on flop and turn. And no, villain doesn't have to be holding a four, but he does need to be holding precisely two sixes. The only way Bram could fear 3 of a kind is with a four anyway, otherwise he is full, which i don't think he is.

Ug, for 3 of a kind, villain must be holding a 4, it is the only trips on the board. If villain has a full house, from trips on the flop which is a lot more likely than trip fours, then he must have a pair of tens or jacks in the hole. Now given that Bram knows where two of each are, I consider it very unlikely that villain holds the remaining two tens or jacks, and so because of this, I wouldn't fold fearing those FHs. So, unless he has spiked trips on the turn with sixes, I think Bram has the best hand on flop and turn. Sorry if I wasn't totally clear in previous posts. Though it is a very unusual way to play an overpair, shoving the river like that, after bet check/calling. That's what makes me think it may be a busted draw like KQ. Continuation bets flop, then check/calls turn with reasonable odds, decides to bluff all in to win a big pot with nothing. What does he expect a call from on this board by moving all in? So there is decent enough chance that this is no value bet.
Hat, how on earth is this a weakly played big pair? All in on the river is very strong.

Ug, I gave my answer to Bram based upon what he said he feared, which was a full house or at least trips. Look at the bottom of his post please. If villain has trips, he MUST hold a four, it is the only trips on the board, and he can almost never hold this. First fear dispelled. Second suspicion of Brams was the full house, but that would mean all tens and jacks in the deck out, or he spiked a six on the turn, which is too unlikely imo to warrant a fold. Yes, he is of course behind an overpair now, on the river, but I was stressing that he had the best hand on the FLOP and TURN almost all of the time. Please read through posts properly before you start trying to humiliate other posters.

Rarely is this an overpair imo, more often it's the nuts (close to) or air. Analysis over the possibility of him having a four, meaning 3 of a kind, is utterly nonsensical, agreed.
