Same guy just a few hands later, my reasoning on the pot bet was I just kinda bad beat him and thought he would think I was bluffin. Should I have done a bear trap?

It's alright, but you might have been better off raising a little less preflop, then betting a little less on the flop. Make him think you are giving him a hard time just for the hell of it.

Yeah thats what I was thinking, maybe just a min preflop raise, and a 1/2 flop bet.

wtf, raise at least 2.5x his raise preflop and either bet 2/3+ on flop or c/r big

Hes only raising 3x. Ill rather raise more then less.
