NL 400 4 tables /20hrs per week
by chosen one » Thu May 18, 2006 12:17 pm
I have a question for all u NL 400 players. I am wondering how much you guys make a month and of course how many hrs a week. My best month was in march. I made just over 22k. I usually bring in about 10k a month part-time. I think this is good but i see other pros on partypoker who have big stacks everyday. I know they play full time and i don't . Anyway just wondering if i am doing well or if i should could be making more.
Let me know

Honestly, we suck. I don't think many people here play that high, so you won't find much help here. Sorry. You're more than welcome to help us out though

Are you on drugs? 20k or 10k? Full time or part time?

You have Poker Tracker, right? It's easier to talk about winrate and the number of hands you generally play in a month than your $/month or hours/week.

what do you think man? i don't want to be an ass but you know you are doing well so why ask. 10k a month is plenty and of course it all depends on what you mean by part time (how many hrs a week) and how many tables you play but regardless of these factors you are still doing well.
I am not sure if I am comfrotable talking about my winrate in public and how much I make a month, my best month etc. just because I don't want people to overthink things and I don't really see what that acomplishes. If you are what you say you are, you should know yourself what is the winrate of a solid 400-600NL player.

I do play some $400 NL, mostly on Full Tilt. As I''ve stated before in this forum, I single table and usually play short sessions, so my stats are meaningless with respect to any statistical validity. I have less than 10,000 hands in PT at this level.
I'm not going to pass judgement on his claim, however, I will say that it sounds high. I would love to have success at that rate, over that number of hands. More power to him if he can do it.
Edit: Stay off my damn tables.

I would add cavman to that list. I myself have played once at a full $400 NL table on Pokerroom. However, I am not planning on doing it again anytime soon because I believe I don't have the proper bankroll. Chosen One do you play full or 6-max on Party?

Yes, sorry, no disrespect to cavman.
And to echo what FAQ said, please feel free to share some HH with us. We'd really appreciate learning some good stuff from you.

10k seems pretty possible, 20 hours a week 4-tabling
5BB/100 * 300 hands/hr * 80 hrs = 12k
5BB/100 * 300 hands/hr * 80 hrs = 12k

wow..sorry guys..i was not being an ass. ..
NO i don't have poker tracker..
They way i track my winnings is how much i cashout and get wired into my bank account. IN my best month which was march..i cashed out just over 22k..i usuallykeep my account balance at a minimum of 7k and cash out often. Poker tracker and all crap u can get doesn't matter to me. I play my game and try to make good decision time and time again. When i do this i win. I don't want all that other crap distracting all i care about is money going into my chking and keeping my account at a min of 7k. Sorry for being so simplistic but i like it that way. So i guess playing 4 tables of nl 400 20 -25 hrs a week and cashing out about 10k a month is good. Thanks for your feedback.

So you don't know what poker tracker is for.
And you don't know anything about how big your bankroll should be.
Isn't that convenient?

How do you get reads when 4-tabling without PT? Have you seen screenshots of PokerAce HUD? Unless you're really good at paying attention to players at 4 tables at once, I can't imagine how you know who to push TPTK against and who to fold the third nuts against.
