Yes, I agree that I shouldn't even have been in this hand. But I took a flyer on the K7s intending to fold if nothing came on the flop. After the flop I thought there was a good chance that I was ahead with the pair of 7s. Poor play, and not what I should normally do. But, having got there, what about the decision with 2 pairs ?

I'd be tempted to wuss out and fold. That's a fairly dangerous raise from the button, because he knows UTG+2 is probably calling. I mean, he check raised the flop, led the turn, and only has $9 left giving him pretty good odds on his call.
In the worst case scenario they have 77 and KJ, making your hand dogmeat. In the best case you're probably behind one and ahead of the other. The two problems I have are that most reasonable hands they could have are better than yours, and the rest are dangerous.

Fold preflop, flop isn't too bad, fold turn. Someone has KJ/33/77. You might be ahead of one but definitely not both.

i dont mind preflop if you can get away from hands like this if you dont flop big, which u didnt.
flop. dont bet middle pair in 50 opponents. you were looking to flop flush, top 2 or something along these lines to feel safe with your hand.
so dont bet flop since you did you call all the bets. you need to fold the turn.
utg+2 has 2 pair and button has a set. maybe the other way around.
in any case. somebody has a set and you are most likely beat.

You guys have it dead right.
I did call.
UTG +2 had J7, so I had him beat but Button had a set of 3s.
To finish the story, the river came up a J, so UTG+2 filled up and won the hand. Pretty sickening for the Button.
Lots of lessons for me here.
Thanks.
