I had only played a couple hands at this table so I didn't have any reads.
Looking back I can see that this was probably poorly played by me.

Yes, that is very dissimilar to how I would play KK. Make it at least $1 preflop. Bet at least the pot on the flop. The flush draw wouldn't be continuing then, and if he did he would be going with very bad odds.

Way too weak IMO.

i personally hate the min raise. way to raise the river big when a diamon draw gets there
