How could I have played this better?

This is early in a cheap tournament so you get fishes like my 2 opponents on this hand. I thought I made the draw expensive and for some reason one guy thinks his aces with an 8 kicker is going to hold up. I was about to fold thinking someone had AK when the K came up.
