gotta think what sort of hand he'd play like that - if he DOES have the 4th nine, you're more than likely beat. considering the EP limps you'd have to be worried about A-9, K-9 and the like

But doesn't a checkraise just telegraph that I have trips? I usually lead the flop, but felt I had too tight of an image.
So do you fold on the turn?

I already looked at the results, so I'm tainted, but you can't beat much by the turn.

Don't check raise. Raise. Perhaps he would have re-raised and you could have seen better. Or this hand is one of those that you go broke with all the way.

The only way you fold this hand is if you put him on a better 9, it is just too difficult to put someone on 33 here and fold. I think I bet the flop but I find it pretty difficult to fold b/c there is no flush threat or straight threats to worry about.

If he played it stupid you could find a fold. I've had hands where I bet out at a flop like this, then a min-raise, and I put out a much more respectable raise. Then they go all-in. That's a fold for me (and the fools usually show the A9).

I fold the turn. There's not much that raises here that I'm ahead of.
I don't like the flop line much either...I think you need to lead out here. Calling OOP makes it difficult to get a lot of value when you're ahead on future streets without tipping the strength of your hand. Leading out could mean a variety of hands, though.
If your image is too tight, then get more aggressive.

AK99 instead of 9943, I'm more willing to put it all in. If just one of them is an ace...I mean, it gives the possibility that villain has an ace, but I still don't think it's that likely.
