Villain hasn't shown a ton of aggression. Should I check behind on the turn to try and keep the pot small? If I bet, I am practically pot committed. What's my play if villain 3-bets the flop?

This is hard to say. His flop bet is odd. It looks like he either hit a set or is trying to draw on the cheap with 45. I don't think, at this level, you'll find anyone smart enough to have those hands and bet the flop like that. I'd say he has an Ace, maybe even A3/A6 which makes the river 7 the tits for you. Still, you wouldn't post this if you won, so wtf do I know?

Highlight below the river for the results.

Agree. He only has .50 left. The odds say to play as well. I wonder if he thought you had a6 or a3 and he caught 2 pair with better kicker? Might explain the raise on the river?

I think you're giving this guy too much credit. He's put out a stupid bet on the flop, which makes me think he is trying something he's not good at. When I am in bobcorn's situation, I am playing as he did, except (if he didn't go all-in) pushing the river. You definitely have the best hand...
flop: ``I am confused and don't know what to do with my pair.''
turn: ``well I am still confused, but it's only a few $ to call...''
river: ``hey I might win this if he thinks I have a 7! all-in!''
That's what I interpret those bets as. Well played bobcorn...don't think you are correct in this case to put him all-in on the flop.

The tragedy of NL $10: Villains aren't sophisticated enough for you to fold to a flop 3-bet. I think you played it fine. Making "good folds" comes at higher levels (a little bit at $25 and mostly starts at $50), imo.

I said I thought he had an Ace! I just don't agree with the chainsaw method of getting my money in the pot with TP/TK everytime it presents itself. That starts to lend itself to bad habits.
