you probably should have bet more on the flop.

However, you will always come across a loser or two in your poker adventures. Take solice in the fact that you will win more from them then they from you.

Case in point... If the guy who lost the hand (illustrated below) has a forum like this to post on, i'm sure his post would be something like this:

WHY ME?

I must be the unluckiest bastard in the world. I mean I played the hand as well as anyone could have.

I had a set of suited hole cards, not the best two starting cards, but not the worst either, but they were suited. Then, I flopped a pair. Some dude bets out and since I already had a pair, naturally I called.

BINGO! My second card comes on the turn, giving me two pair. The same guy comes out and bets again. I had two pair! I had no choice, right? I had to go all-in with two pair.

The other guy called and it turns out he also had two pair, but his was bigger.

These things happen to me ALL THE TIME and it's really starting to piss me off. But, as they say "That's poker". I will continue to play "my own game". I understand the ups and downs of poker and my luck is sure to change.
