Here's a really bad example. Not sure if what I did was wrong. BUT, the donk called all his chips with Aces and a nice kicker.

Um, yeah, that's pretty bad.
I'm guessing you play a bit of a LAGgy style to be a.) raising T9o in MP in a full game b.) raising the flop with a gutshot. Two things that matter a lot with this hand:
1. What was your image like at the time?
2. What was his image like at the time?
If he's a calling station (which it looks like he is) and if you've been raising a lot of pots (which I'm guessing you have) then he's not gonna lay down top pair here. You have to use that to your advantage when you get a big hand, but when you run into trouble with a player like this, just let your hand go. You don't have to take down every pot.
Your thought process in this hand makes it look like you had a good read on his cards, but not on his playing style. Just about every move you make was telling him "I have ace king, you should probably fold" but you ignored his actions, which told you "I'm not folding my ace rag."

That was gross. You HAD TO KNOW that you didn't have the best hand, and you HAD TO KNOW he would go to SD with TP. Yuck. He bet on the flop. You should never have PFR, and should not have called that bet. Unless...unless you are playing really tricky (but I can't even pretend to help with that.)

My advice, drop back to NL25 or NL10 until you learn not to raise MP with unsuited connectors. Then you need to work on reading your other players. What types of hands have you shown down at this table and how many hands do you normally play?
Do you have PokerTracker and PokerAceHUD? If not, spend the money. You obviously can afford it considering the stakes you play. Learn what each of the numbers means and how to play against the different players.
Many times you will end up in a situation where you have fired at a pot a few times and been called the whole way. It is a hard thing to learn, but sometimes you just need to learn to give up a hand.

What is your VP$IP? If it is much over 20%, then I would suggest you be a tad more picky on starting hand requirements. If you are successful on your post-flop play, then ok, but T9o is fine to play in the BB....or occaisionally raise on the button in an unraised pot to steal, but not there.
DO you have Poker Tracker to see how you do?
If so, look at what hands you win money at and which hands you lose money at - with 40K hands, you should see some pretty obvious trends.
