Goofy and I were discussing this a bit.
Final table of the 20K guaranteed. There are 6 players left. You have 2.5M chips and everyone else has roughly 700K. Blinds are 30K/60K. Table offers the following deal:
3400 for you.
1500 for everyone else.
Payouts are:
1st 4200
2nd 3200
3rd 2200
Do you take the offer?

Biggle I believe it was 4200 for first, and second usually took 2400 3rd usually took 1800 I THINK.
3400 for first was right. 6 ways it was 1500 each and 3420 for the chip leader. So 10920 was in the prize pool for 6 people.
He had 2.5m chips and the rest of the table had 3.3m combined. So he has 42% of the total chips and he gets 31% of the prize pool. I dont think the deal could get much better than that.

First was $4200, 2nd was $2120. I remember that much very clearly.
The funny part is that after a couple more players got knocked out, the guy with 2.5M was down to ~1.8M, and was no longer chip leader (stacks were more like 2.1M/1.8M/1.1M/700K). Suddenly he got really excited about taking a deal, which ended up being something like $2.8k/$2.5k/$2.2k/$1.9k.
