My entire online career was built at Party. When I started in mid-'04 I was pretty green. I (as wierd as it might sound) started playing online when my fiance' (present day wife) lost her job and we needed a quick extra source of income. At first it didnt go so well, but then I was fortunate enough to hit the Bad Beat in Nov. '04 Ever since then I have been determined to become a better player (kind of saw the BB win as a second chance after starting off losing). Over the past year I have read books and played within my bankroll; finally becoming a winning player over the last 4-5 months; culminating with my first MTT win last week (707 player $1+0).
I'm looking forward to learning from other dedicated party poker players.... I've tried other sites (PS, FT and Absolute) but party has been the only one that could keep my interest thorugh-out.

Don't be sometimes it's rough! I started at Party Poker and slowly moved over to Full-Tilt and PS I like the starting chips and blind structure better. Since I'm a poker addict I bought a really nice poker table a year ago, it's nicer than the tables in the casinos in vegas . We have a weekly game, we play a couple $20 tournaments followed by some low-limit NL. I do pretty good at our weekly games, I've probably paid for the poker table. Occasionaly I'll go down to the casino and play in a $62 Multi-Table tournament. My best finish in one of those is 7th, that was exciting. I've been reading posts on tightpoker.com for some time now and this site was actually the first site that I found a little over a year ago that had great information, lessons etc...
It's great that I can finally talk with some good players about strategy, game plan and the what would you do scenarios....

After a 3-month poker hiatus and some financial priorities which forced a cash-out, the bug struck me again and I'm back on Stars. Thanks to a simple $40 fantasy football deposit by my good friend Scotty, I have since gotten my bankroll up over $150 again on Stars and its been running well. *forcing the jinx away, aarrrgghh GO AWAY JINX!!*
I was mostly a lurker on the old forum, I think I ended up with around 100 posts or so but look to add a lot more to this forum as it has significantly improved (minus the freeroll wh0res, of course). Here is a little about me:
