I was at the Eldorado Casino poker room in Shreveport last night. Relatively small. Maybe 12 tables total with a mix of 1-2 NL, 2-4 NL, and 2-4 limit. They are running "round the clock" SNG STT $100+15 satelites for WPT entries starting tomorrow. The field was varied with a couple of "young studs" tossing chips around. The wait for a seat was not to bad.

The Horseshoe Poker Room is supposed to be nicer, but I have not been there yet. They run $50 buy in tourneys Monday and Wednesday I believe, but will need to check to verify that.

doesn't matter if you win or not, just take the one point per sng ;)

I don't think I'd be happy if I was sitting at that table though. There are lots of players on Party that actually use this as their strategy. I love it when the button goes all in on the first hand just to pick up 25 chips. Nice buy. :wink:

The Belle of Baton Rouge (formerly Argosys Casino) in downtown baton rouge has a $40 buy in MTT every Wed/Sun. There are a total of 80 places of which atleast 55-60 are taken any given day. The entire money collected is put into the prize pool with 10 people making money. The quality of the game is quite easy, I only played there once and even a absolute novice like myself was placed in 20th position out of I think 74 entrants.
