Poker Traker --> Introduction to Advanced Searches?
by fifo » Wed Nov 15, 2006 6:59 pm
Does someone know a link to an introduction about how to compose advanced searches in PT?
For example, I know that one of my leaks is playing AK too aggressively. So, I'd like to give myself "hard evidence" that I do things wrong and what I do wrong. But how do I search something like "Look for all AKs/AK where you didn't improve to TPTK at least on the river and where there was mild aggression".

You would have to do an SQL query, and a pretty messy one at that. I know that on the PT forums they have an SQL section, I'm not sure if they take requests for queries over there but if you have a very specific search you're interested in running maybe someone would do it for yo.

You'd have to convert your db to postgres so you can run complex queries on the db. I don't think you can do that with the default access database.

Ok, thanks.
I feared that...
I do have some limited experience in MySQL - so I guess with a lot of sweat and cussing I'll be able to come up with something, but it'll be a pain...
But I guess it can't be helped...
