Hi all!
The bonus hunting guide on the main site says "Check the bonus forum for the latest updates about recent and new bonuses, as new bonuses can appear weekly."
But the post it refers to is "Bonus Listing for all Major Sites - Updated 2/15/2006" not updated for almost a year..
Is this guide still valid our totally outdated, are there plans for any new guides or updates?

mm, we heard about the new US anti-poker act over there indeed :/
I am a European player so thought I could still use many of the sites mentioned, but since the guide is so out of date I thought I'd check with you guys first.

Check out [ Link removed: Please post bonus info here instead ] for the best bonus whoring information.
IMO the party poker and empire poker sign up bonuses are the best. I would do these first.
Also, make sure that you take full advantage of affiliates and rake back schemes while whoring.
Cheers.

The cryptos (Interpoker, Sun, William Hill, Littlewoods, etc) still offer good value bonuses.
It's possible to get rakeback on top of these too - so don't play a single hand without it!
Good luck hunting

thanks for your tip, is the BonusWhores sites updated in a good fashion?
I checked out the Pokerroom bonus listed here:
"PokerRoom.com in association with [ Link Removed: Please post bonus info here instead ] offers you a 30% First Deposit Bonus (up to $200) if you sign-up now and start playing for real money.
The deposit offer is for new players only and valid once. To release the bonus you must earn 5 Player Points per bonus dollar by playing real money ring games, tournaments or casino games. You have 60 days from the time of deposit to clear the bonus in its entirety."
If I understand correctly I would have to earn 300 points within 60 days..
But does this mean that if say I earn 290 points in 60 days I receive no bonus money at all, or does one actually get paid the bonus money according to how many points one has earned within 60 days?
The reason I ask is that maybe in some cases where it might be a bit hard to earn the full bonus within the given time limit, maybe one should deposit a bit less instead to complete a bonus safely.
I will check out the "Bonus Whoring 101" in the mean time
"Also, make sure that you take full advantage of affiliates and rake back schemes while whoring."
- does this require any more action then signing up with the best deposit codes available or do one have to play in a certain way?
I looked up something about rakeback here and got some negative information:
http://rakeback.flopturnriver.com/
Last question, should one use Netteller or any other funding option for all sites like recommended in the (a bit outdated) guide on this site?
Sorry about all my asking, a bit curious about getting all this right

Yes, it is probably the best site around for poker bonus information.

Your calculations are back to front.
To get the full $200 bonus you will need to deposit $667 (30% of 667=$200) and earn 1000 points (5*200 bonus dollars)
According to bonus whores, at 25NL you will earn approximately $1.34 per full ring table (max 4), per hour. You will probably need to play at a higher limit for this bonus to be worthwhile.
I don't think you will get the bonus unless you fully complete its requirements. So if you only earn 999 points you will probably end up with nothing. Email poker room support to verify whether this is correct or not.

No you do not need to play in a certain way. To sign-up with an affiliate you will just need to use their bonus codes (sometimes no bonus code is required). Shop around for the best affiliate deals, some offer higher deposit bonuses, others offer free gifts.
Unfortunately I do not know a lot about rakeback schemes because all the sites that I have signed up with do not allow them. Some issues that will need to be addressed with rakeback schemes include:
*Does the poker site in question allow them?
*Can they be used in conjunction with bonuses? If the answer is no will you be playing at the site long enough to warrant using the rakeback scheme instead of the bonus offer(s)?
*If the poker site in question allows rakeback alongside bonus offers then you have nothing to lose by signing up for a rakeback scheme. Even if the scheme goes under you have only lost the opportunity to get rakeback. Just make sure to sign-up with a reputable third-party to begin with.

Tricky question given the current state of the US/neteller situation.
Personally I only use neteller (I live in Australia), but to be on the safe side I spread my Bankroll across a number of poker and casino sites too.
Just be aware that some bonuses require a specific payment method. Sometimes using CC, sometimes using neteller and sometimes using another e-wallet product.
Finally, I would like to say that bonus-whoring can be quite profitable. I have made $1000 from bonuses in the last month, however to be successfull there are a few things you need to do:
1. Play winning poker. This is very important, if you can't at least break-even playing poker then your bonuses won't look so juicy anymore and it won't be worthwhile. Learn to play before becoming a bonus whore!
2. Research. Research the best bonuses for your limits and game. Look for the best sites, affiliates and rakeback schemes. Every little bit you can extract from bonuses is important!
3. Every bonus is unique. Read the fine print.
4. Read the fine print again.
Cheers.

thanks alot for your input!
Sorry, I was a bit quick in reading the Pokerroom bonus offer mentioned.. I thought it was maximum deposit 200$ and 30% of that in bonus money
I checked a bit and it seems that Pokerroom has a 60 day limit for all their bonuses and that one has to complete the full bonus to get anything at all.. so better try to calculate how much I should deposit to be able to clear the bonus safely.. since it will be my first attempt
I have only played with play money at different sites until now but played aroung with my friends real money account at Pokerroom for a couple of days just to test.. I only played at micro 0,25$ with his 20$.. I tripled the money and earned 116.41 PP at this level. Does this sound decent enough?
If 1000 points is required one should be able to get this within a couple of weeks at micro or am I wrong here?
EDIT:
Bonuswhores writes about Pokerroom:
"A player accumulates 0.07 of a point for each $0.10 in rake that is taken."
(This sounds a bit low judging from the 116.41 PP I earned in short time tho)
ITH seemed to have a better offer for Pokerroom:
http://www3.pokerroom.com/main/62/
This is the best I have seen until now for Pokerroom, I would
like to start with them since their software seemed OK when testing.
Thanks for clearing up this with affiliates, for ITH it seems like they offered a bonus code mentioned and a free gift as their affiliate gift instead of a rake back scheme.

thanks indeed & cheers!
Will start at Pokerrom a anytime now, the ITH 7X 50% seems more tempting than 5X 30%.. think I should be able to clear it..
Just trying to find out if they require NeTeller, I opened an account yesterday but can't find out how much they charge for upgrading to a Premium account.. seems I must have a Premium account to deposit and withdraw cash to bank account :/
PS - first impression of NeTeller was not very good.. hard to find info about pricing and fees and could not even access most help info before I had signed up, even then fees are hard to find..
