PLO - BR Size?

I hit a big NLHE downswing and lost my mind last week. So, I sat down at a juicy PLO .10/.25 table with $90 left in my roll (if you want to call it a roll.)
I went on a sick heater and made $110 in about an hour. (LOL OMAHAHAHA IS EZ! GET BIG NUTS AND POOOOOSH)
Needless to say, Omaha was my new favorite game! The next day I sat down and played and.... lost those prior winnings. It was a slow grind, little up, little down, but I never got hot and of course you chase 99% of the time in Omaha, so over the course of the day I was back to $90.
I played again the next day, back up to $150! The voice in my head told me to stop, but I didn't. I couldn't. Huge nosedive over the next couple of days, and I was down to $50. Variance > me.
Anyway, my point is that swings are HUGE in PLO. What kind of bankroll do you need to play PLO-25 as your normal game? I'm guessing it's at least 20 buy-ins ($500) to start. Is that still too low? I really enjoy the game, and I would like to play it again when properly rolled; I just don't know what properly rolled IS for Omaha/Hi.
Until then, back to grinding my way through microstakes NL. Again.

Ah yes, Omaha can be very good to you or very bad. The sick part is it all depends on how you're hitting on a certain night.
Two nights ago, I destroyed the table and left up ~$50 ($25PLO hi/lo). Last night, I missed every single possible everything it was gross. So of course I lose the profit from two nights ago. This is the nature of the game. To be honest, you don't need that much if you want to play $25 PLO. I'd say $500 is plenty good.
