Were you slowing down by only raising to 800 on the turn (into a 1800 pot)?
I don't like the river call unless you're looking for information. Either your kicker is bad or he could have flopped some other crazy combo to make 2 pair+
Do you fold on the turn to a re-raise?

Bet less on the flop, potting it just bloats the pot with a marginal hand. Check the turn for pot control - maybe call a small bet. Not sure what you beat on the river, I'd just fold. If the river were a non-heart I would call the bet.

I was trying to throw another bet out there that was half of the pot, I didn't get the feeling that he had me beat with his call on the flop.

Well its for two things, one for information but another is that his bet is so low compared to the pot that he could just be trying to represent a flush.

Yes I would fold to a re-raise on the flop too I'm beat with my low kicker at that point.

Good advice, also to note if he called you on the flop he probably has something, even if he has a 7 and is looking you up, if he has an A its probably a better kicker, so not many hands you are beating on the turn. I check/fold the turn, call a small bet maybe.
