multi tabling hot & cold streaks - help

I typically 4 and sometimes 9 table NL $50 on Party. I'd classify myself as a winning player, reasonably solid with one major leak in my game - getting married to hands like 2 pair, overpair, TPTK, etc. and calling all in with them when I face resistance.

Over about the last 2 months, I've logged 43000 total hands. Over the first 25000 or so, I was up $2400. The last 18000, I'm down $70.

That leak notwithstanding, is this kind of night/day streak normal?

I'd take any good result on a Sunday. Weekends have always been my worst days.

Jeez guys, I'm really not bragging. I'm having a crisis of confidence. Starting to feel like that initial spurt was the hot streak of my life and this is reality. Just trying to get a feel from anyone else who does this if this kind of hot/cold streak is within the normal confines of reality.

Yes it is, and you have to expect a high level of variance 9 tabling.

Sorry, I was teasing you. Seriously, you're doing great. You HAVE to expect downswings, it's a natural part of the game. When things are going great, you feel like a genius, when things aren't, you start questioning if you even know how to play poker or should you just give it up, etc.

Don't get down, keep up the good work.

Whee. If you're that worried, perhaps try lowering the number of tables a little and concentrating a bit more; then see how your stats are over the next few k hands.
