I won my 2nd ever MTT a couple of nights ago. It was a $5 rebuy with about 224 people. 1st place payed me $552. by far my biggest single payday in poker. I really tightened up my starting hand requirements and was able to make a bunch of moves at the final table to pull out a win.
It was really crazy looking at the last hand above, I figure you all would get a kick out of that. He had shown a tendency to play weak after the flop, but I am pretty sure an all-in was the incorrect play. I normally would have just bet the pot or something. That was my first All-In heads up with the guy and I figured I would get some respect. but hey Ace high with Queen kicker works for me lol.
Does anyone agree with my theory that playing in the middle of the night when I am wide awake gives me a big advantage over the drunks/sleep deprived individuals?

Congrats on the win! Yeah, there's going to be a lot of sleepy people playing late at night - or the super hard core types.
The push with QJ is a little iffy to me, because the pot is about 70k and you're putting in your entire stack of 350k without knowing what he has. It also doesn't help that you have Queen high at the moment, yikes.
It's a decent bluff if he's real weak and always plays back monsters and calls with crap, because that uncoordinated rag board most likely means he didn't hit anything. However, a straight bet could also have the same effect if he is willing to fold.
In any event, it worked out, so nice work on the big win.
