I swore I'd never do this

As an intro, I've switched from PP to PS recently, and have found the HE ring games pretty horrible so far, but the PLO games have been surprisingly soft, even though I'm not a good Omaha player by any means.
Anyway, I made the ultimate fish move last night, misreading the board (call me Ted Lawson) and getting rewarded (obv rigged).
I have Js987
flop comes KT6, 2 spades (I'm spadeless)
I call the OR, along with another fishy player.
Turn is a blank. OR bets, fishy (short stack) goes all in, I call with my 20 outs, right? Then OR goes all in. I autocall with all those outs. (table has been fairly passive, and I tend to think of this as a set rather than a flush draw).
River is an off-suit Q, and I go from $15 to $40.
Great hand, right? Until I realize that the J and the 5 aren't outs as I thought they were. I was thinking that since cards 6-T were all accounted for, anything beyond those had to be straights. So I was calling off my stack as about a 3:1 dog rather than as nearly even money as I thought.
I'm an idiot.
