What took you so long? You kill live. GL! Keep the trip reports coming. Does the place you play offer comps?

Me too.
I had Johnny transfer me $150 on stars (paid him through paypal) and lost it all in 2 days. Same old bullshit with stars. Nothing changes.
It's kinda depressing and a huge waste.
Good luck Biggle.

Wow, biggle.. I never expected you to quit online.. Are the limit games not good anymore?? I know you're not a huge hold'em fan, but since my Tunica trip I've been Multi-tabling the 3/6 and 2/4 limit full ring games on stars and I love it! Course I've only played a few thousand hands, but the play is super weak...
Give some details man... I hope you still hang out on the forums from time to time...

Well, hope it's been a good ride man. Maybe once/if the whole legal issue gets cleared, we'll see you back. Can hardly blame you though for wanting to just play live. Vs the online, it's no contest.

I agree, if I had a casino closer than 4 hours, I would be there every chance I had...

I agree, too! If it was a reasonable distance, I would be there often! The closest casino to where I live is about 9 hours away.

Yes. I have 2. Both are roughly 30-40 minutes away. The main reason that I'm giving up on online poker is that I'me very poor at time management. I'm still winning money but I spend too much time playing and sometimes neglect other stuff that needs to get done. Also, other hobbies have been falling by the wayside. I think if I don't cash out the whole roll, I'm going to be tempted to play again.
I likely will return one day, especially if the US government opens the doors and welcomes back all the fish.
I still intend to stick around the forum regularly.
Anyone have experience with getting checks from poker sites? I'd like to consolidate everything into Stars and just have them send me a check, so if anyone wants to trade FTP and/or UB for Stars, let me know.

If I had casinos that close to where I live, I would not quit online...but...I would sure play more live and less online. Poker on the internet is very convenient and I understand what you are saying about other things not getting done. I wish you all the best with your live poker and the other things you do!!!
