The third hand I added because I got a lot of my losses from mpgpm back there. Though I was NOT playing for revenge, it was sweet to get some back from him.

First hand is tricky. You're sandwhiched b/w the open bettor and the preflop raiser, I can see why you flat called, on the other hand, if you think your hand is best, I'd push on the flop.

Second hand, you got the scroogy, that's a bummer of a flop if I've ever seen one. I think you lost less than I would have, b/c I certainly would have bet the flop.

Third hand, villain claims to have trip kings? I don't think so, he would have raised you on the turn for sure. You could try to sell your hand on the river, but I'd push hoping he made a flush and would call. The times that the villain calls and loses these pushes make up for uncalled bets on the river.

I agree with merv's assesment of the first two hands. Especially about pushing the flop for the first hand.

Later, he told me he folded KK here because he was afraid of the flush. I was thinking, "Damnit, why did the flush have to hit!!"

I told him, "The flush was not what you should have been afraid of."

If he held KK, he would have had quads and would have been able to beat a flush.

I figured you meant to type that he had "KKK" for trip kings and instead typed "KK".
