HORSE part 2. Electric boogaloo.

Its been a stressful week and I need to relax so I head to the boats. Add my name to both 3/6 HE and 5/10 HORSE. Get called to the HE shortly. Second hand after I sit down:
UTG Limps
Hero limps with
2 more limpers behind plus the blinds.
Flop is:
UTG leads. Hero calls. MP3 raises. Folded around to UTG who calls. Hero calls.
Turn:
UTG checks. Hero checks. MP3 bets. UTG calls. There are no monsters under this bed so hero check raises. Both call.
River:
UTG checks. Hero bets. MP3 calls. UTG calls.
UTG turns over AA. Bleh. Can we say misplayed on every street?
I manage to get back to even but then I dwindle down again to about (-$60) when I get called for HORSE. I add on another $200. In Omaha I had tons of great starting hands that went no where on the flop and in every other round I folded a lot. Its hard to win $$ if one never wins pots. Hero dwindles down to $60 left and is considering whether to rebuy or go home. Hero then hits a hand in Razz to get back to like $120 and then another about 2 hands later to get to $200. Nail a straight in the next Stud-Hi round to get to 300. I nail a few more hands later and by the end of the night I have $480.
Be noted though, that Hero is a big Hold'em donkey. Here are the fun hands of the evening.
UTG (a guy who I think is Merv's cousin) raises. I 3-bet JJ on the button. UTG is only caller. He checks dark. I bet dark. Flop is TT3. He mucks.
I'm UTG with
and I raise. I had been getting too much respect and the table was tightish anyways. UTG+1 calls and so does BB.
Flop is
BB checks. I bet. Both call. Well crap.
Turn is
Oh boy gutterball. Turn is checked through.
River is
That's about the best non-9 card I could hope for.
BB checks. Hero bets. Both fold. UTG+1 says he probably folded the winner with a J (which he did obviously) but it also means that he floated the flop with nothing. Any ideas what BB had?
Donkey hand #2:
I raise
in the hijack. A poster in the CO calls. Both blinds call. Yuck.
Flop is
Flop is checked through.
Turn is
SB and BB check. I figure I have the best hand at this point and SB and CO are both preparing to muck so I bet. CO and SB muck. BB now check-raises. This looks like total air to me especially the way I've played my hand so I plan to call down.
River is a
BB checks. Hero bets. BB calls.
BB shows a T.
I can't decide if BB played this expertly or like an idiot.
Donkey hand #3:
Blind stealer raises in the CO. I 3-bet
on the button. CO calls.
Flop is
CO checks. I bet. CO check raises. Hero 3-bets. CO calls.
Turn is
CO checks. Hero checks.
River is a
CO leads. Hero folds. CO shows Qh9h.
Donkey hand #4 (from the 3/6 table).
5-6 people in the pot and I have J9o. Uh, yeah.
Flop is:
Flop is checked through.
Turn is
UTG bets. I raise. Everyone else folds. UTG calls.
River:
UTG leads. Hero folds and shows. UTG shows full house with QT.
One other hand where I consider laying down 2nd flush on a paired board but I end up cold-calling 2 bets on the river and losing to nut flush.

First hand:
I feel okay about limping with eights preflop.
On the flop, just calling on the cheap street is probably correct, but when MP3 raises, and UTG calls, you need to 3bet there and get the pot built up a little bit.
Check raising is okay since you just called the flop. I would have led out if I had 3-bet the flop.
KT made it but that's a long shot. Bet is fine, I think.

Nice comeback!!
I'm feeling your pain on Omaha. Nothing more frustrating than having good starting hands consistently miss the flop.
On a side note, you may be playing with my cousin. I got many a family member all over the damn place.
P.S. I don't see what's wrong with the 888 hand. Personally, I'm surprised a set of aces doesn't find a raise on the river.

An Omaha/8 hand I meant to post
I think like 4-5 players to the flop. I don't think it was raised. (Its vague in memory). Hero has KJT9 on the button.
Flop is
Hero has no hearts.
UTG leads. 1 caller. Hero calls?
Turn
UTG checks. MP (who's a big ole donkey) bets. Hero calls?
River
MP checks. Hero bets.
