Holdem Poker Problems.... and now europoker too
by uncledave » Sun Dec 18, 2005 11:27 am
Hi guys...
I signed up to HoldemPoker through the links here, but when I went to lodge $150 and scoop the 100% bonus using the TIGHT code I was told it was an incorrect bonus code. It says "Please check your bonus code".
I'm getting the same problems with Europoker too
Any ideas why it isn't working?
Cheers.

Looking into it now. Most likely you have the bonus already through the tracker links. It's just not used as a deposit code, but rather an invite code.
Will get back to you ASAP on this.

I also had some trouble. I wasn't sure if the invite fields was the right one to use, so I left it blank to see if I could go back later to fill it. No such luck though.
Tech support could do squat.
Hello JaceDK,
Thank you for your e-mail. The "Invited by" field was the right one for
the promotional code. Unfortunately, we are not able to add the
promotion code to your account. Nontheless, I´ll send the information to
our technical team and ask if they can do it. I can´t promise you
anything, but we´ll get back to you as soon as we have any news from them.
Best regards,
Support Europoker.

Neither codes have worked for me on either site. I contacted EuroPoker first and they manually gave me 50% bonus but said this site would have to do the 100% somehow. I sent an email to the operator of this site and received no reply.
Aside from that, have to say the rake sucks - you only get credit for hands you're in and then its only minimal toward your bonus. I will have to play about 4-5000 hands to get the 50% bonus at $150 - with 100% bonus easily double that. Not a good whoring option.
On the upside, lots of lousy players.
Great info on this tightpoker.com site, no doubt, but this offer with the problems and the low, low rake value is bogus.

Recap
by spike_guy » Thu Dec 22, 2005 2:09 pm
I moved to the .50/.50 tables and the rake is moving along much better. At .25/.25 there can be many hands where there is no rake and it doesn't count - not happening at .5/.5. Its a game above my deposit of only $150, and its still slow but no slower than other sites I've played like FullTilt. I'm hoping to clear it in about 10 days. I have 110 out of 750 cleared and I'm up about $100 - plenty of loose players so far.
