Good table but Good play?
by mrhat187 » Sun Aug 13, 2006 10:57 pm
Little back story had been stealing ALOT of blinds here rarely been called, seen alot of semi bluffs as well from the player I'm up against....I'm disappointed in my turn play. Also the flop call of his was very quick. I hid the river play as well after he raised.

minraises with draws, eeek buddy list, i rarely see tptk being the best hand here though so I think you got lucky, the problem is that a pair of nines isn't really strong enough to push the turn, even if villian is on a draw, so you give away a free card. Thin value call on the river, but if your read is right then ship it over!

Well as I said, been at the table for about 1.5 hours..yeah not a good amount of time, but had seen about 5 semis in that amount of time from that guy. I'm up in the air about it, glad I went with my gut......but damn thats costly sometimes woulda preffered it to be a live hand
, then I get more info
