My image is pretty loose pre because I have been raising light a lot and re raising TheCommissar but I never showed down anything bad and just folded to re raises when I was beat. Not like they noticed anyways. So do you bet or check and take a free card on the turn. Villain seems pretty tight, kind of a nit.

Fire away! He'll fold. It sucks the 20% of the time he check raises the turn, but it's worth it. Fire a 3/4 bet on the river if you miss. Adjust to your image accordingly.

yeah I know what you are saying but they will also overplay their hands and pay me off when i hit their flop thanks to my image. Also, after thecomissar folds the rest of the table are nits so they fold here almost all the time without a monster but thats besides the point...

Probably because the majority of people at this level do not know how to play a LAG style properly, and hence play it poorly. So they are viewed as bad players.
