Aside from my rantings how would any of you play this hand differently. First hand so no reads and no stats on in Poker Tracker. It's only 11 am and I already feel like drinking very heavily. FUCK POKERROOM

Wow, as far as I can tell, I lose everything on the turn b/c I would bet so hard it's not even funny.

You showed some interesting restraint on the turn.

The cursing is good, but I would have cursed a little more.

Not much you can do with the way the cards came out. He's not going to fold, and the river card, obviously, makes your hand pretty close to worthless. But, as for your play:

I think you shouldn't bet the flop sort of as a last resort. He doesn't know you don't have an ace, and if he calls or folds you can be pretty sure you are beat. (this advice would've been bad here, because K came on turn, but this is generally how I play when ace flops on my KK.)

On the turn, I would've raised more. With that board, he either has nothing, or a very strong hand that he will lose a lot of money with. If he's willing to call the $5, he's willing to call $25, IMO. Then you can get it in on the river (unless its an ace).

River is a terrible card, but it happens. just don't tilt off too much afterwards

on the river though ...a lot of people would call just because they cant

lay down a boat


the hand: I raise to $20 preflop (1st hand, 2 limpers, KK is deepthroating

if an A flops so you need to protect it), call flop but raise the turn heavy

I'm not happy about it, but I probably call. Roughly 2.4:1. You're probably good 1 out of 3.4 times, but most of the time you're probably behind to a set.

i raise to at least 10 with premium hands on PokerRoom.

it works like a charm if you raise to like 10-15, especially out of the blinds,

people will call in hopes of hitting than decide they are pot committed and

try to take it away from you

Hope to see a flush draw with a 10, or maybe just an overplayed AT or something. I think you're ahead enough to call, but like goofyballer said, I'm not happy about it.
