i like the turn bet since it keeps him from getting bluffed on the river. You have a lot of outs, and also a hand that can easily win at a showdown. By betting the turn, you are building a big pot in case you hit and should get a free showdown. you are also discouraging a bluff. If the BB calls the turn and then bets the river, you can be confident he's not bluffing since you have shown strength throughout the hand. If you check, the villain is likely to bet the river, and you won't know where you stand.
