I never know where to put stuff like this...poker forum or here. Anyway, Poker Stars is offering double FPPs for the rest of the year until midnight, 12/31. Since they add up so slowly at .50/1 limit, I think I'll use this opportunity to work on those 5 bonuses I have stacked up!!

A little add-on. Wanted to mention that this only applies to ring games, no such luck for those of us that clear bonuses playing tournament.

I'm not at home to login, so I have a question about this. Is there a daily time frame like there was last time they ran this, or is it all day every day until the New Year?

I played there earlier today and my goodness, what a rock garden. I was watching as many .50/1 limit tables I could and they were pretty much all the same. About 15% VIP (tablewide) and preflop raise around 6%. Average pot size was hovering around $5 for almost every table. I played for about an hour and got 10 FPPs (on the tables I usually pick, I get about 6 or 7 an hour normally). Don't know if it was because of the double FPPs (so people were 'whoring', so to speak) or because it's freakin' Christmas Eve day and I was spending time playing poker instead of spending time with the GF.

By telling her my bad beat stories? Not sure where you're going with this. Just kidding. There was some free time there...actually, she was taking a nap on the couch. So I took that opportunity to play some poker.
