Well, if anyone missed it online gambling got another black eye today when a judge sent Andris Pukke to jail for contempt. This fine gentleman is the founder of AmeriDebt, the company that defrauded people in financial difficulties out of an estiated $170m.
Long story short, he settled with an agreement to repay $35m and promptly used friends and relatives to stash all of his assets in various hard to find places. One of which is an "internet gambling company."

i'd say you have to expect bad things to happen in the industry as logically the people who run gambling sites profit off of creating an environment where many people have no business being apart of. The only people who respect it are the ones who like the challenge of poker. Gambling will never not have a black eye.
