Did I play this right?

I was playing in an $11 tourney last night and I got this hand. Sorry, holdempoker.com only lets you search by hand no. and it closes the window for the table as soon as you lose.
I am big blind with AKo. 1 limper from MP, SB folds, I raise 4xBB, he calls.
Flop is JKQ rainbow. I bet 1/2 the pot, he just calls again. turn is 8, I go all in trying to scare him away, he calls and flips over JJ.
Now, this guy was the big stack at the table and was stealing blinds and pots for a while and showing everyone his garbage hands. Maybe I should have known better when he started calling my raises and bets?

what are blinds and stack sizes?
i think you should've slowed down on the turn because he could've easily outflopped you. it depends how deep you were as to whether you could've gotten away from the hand, IMO.

Blinds were 75/150. I had ~3200 and he had ~8000. The only reason I went all in is because he was playing almost every hand, regardless of what he had, and if he stole a pot he would usually show his garbage hand. I figured I had TPTK and a straight draw.

there are some MTT experts here that probably give better advice than me, but i don't think you have much choice but to put all the money in on the turn. I assume the pot was about 2400 at that point (turn) and your stack has about 2000 left. at that point, i'm not sure what else you can do but push. but KQJ is not a great flop for AK, and there's a very good chance you are beat.
even though there's a very good chance you're beat if you are called, you are probably ahead of enough hands that folding would be too weak.

So you think he'd call you on the flop with a T or middle or bottom pair? Was he a calling station or a LAG? I would've bet more on the flop to get a better idea of where you stand but I think you have to push this turn. He could easily have JT,QT,AJ,AQ,TT if he's loose.

He was very LAG. I had only seen him go to one showdown and he got beat, but it was a small pot because the other guy had a very small stack. The way he was playing he could have had anything. He was involved in every pot that I saw, which was about 6-8 since he moved to the table.

Correct way to post this hand:
"Kinda early in an $11 tourney, 75/150 blinds, I have 3200 chips. I have AKo in the BB. Big stack (8k chips) limps in MP, I raise to 600, he calls. He's been stealing lots of blinds and pots and showing everyone rags when he does. Flop is KQJ rainbow. I bet 600, he calls. Turn is an 8, I go all-in for 2000 (pot is ~2500). What do you think Villain has? How's my line?"
Don't tell us what Villain had, don't tell us that he called your all-in bet.
I think this is a crappy situation to be in. The pot is so huge on the turn that you're pretty committed...and, I hate that all-in, because I don't think he's calling with anything you beat (what would he call with, KT?) and I think he's calling with EVERYTHING that beats you (any two pair combo or better). I'm not sure at what point I'd slow down though. Really hard hand to play.

What kind of PF raises was he calling? Perhaps going all-in preflop here would be better, or a much bigger raise. That call on the flop really scares me. Most likely check/fold on the turn unless it's a K or A (yes I know A would have been bad...)
But my AKo play could *seriously* use some work. I lose at least some portion of my cash here, regardless.

I had only been watching him for a few hands and noone had PFR'd him. I thought he might be just calling me because he was waitng for a draw, but looking back, he might have thought if he raised I would fold. I don't know, I guess I have alot to learn about position. I agree withyou Ugignadl, I should have checked on the turn to see what he did.
