OK I have been playing tight as can be. I had over 8000 chips and was in top 10 of this tourny. I was chip dead and lost a big pot to Xira, he played AQ about as weird as I ever saw.

I think you bet yourself into an unfortunate shove in the second hand. You have 1700 chips left if you fold and unless you're REAL close to the money you need to gamble here.

Folding would make you the ultra-short stack, with less than half the chips of the next place player.

Besides, he's probably got hearts.

You have two overs and some more outs besides. I think villain at best has a T here so shoving is fine. I might have even open shoved the flop.

First hand, I don't think I'm calling the river.

1st hand: You can probably fold the river, but I understand why you called. Basically you wanted to see to gain information down the line especially when you know you can take advantage of him later on.

2nd Hand: I fold, you could be seriously behind already, although shoving and hoping you have 10 outs isn't too bad, but you might only have 4, also I think his bet is not a bluff because he is committing you and himself to the hand.
