Apparently, it's easy to do wrong but people there have posted screenshots to help. Also, it seems that you can contact Mansion customer service to make sure you've placed the wager properly.

Just learned that they have live chat support that you can use as you place th e bet if you're "playing with scared money" as I will be.

My buddy in Bodog confirms that Mansion is a very reputable sportsbook and that they've done promos like this before. Their hope is that people win and play with their winnings (and eventually dip into their funds), or lose and figure that they can't lose twice and will play again.
