Can I get some heads up tips for late rounds?

Do you have a simple cookie cutter strat? I can't even win 50% of the time when i'm heads up. If I didn't get sucked out so much it'd probably be 60/40. Just had 3 back-back-back 2nds after getting sucked out at least once heads up at all the tables.

No.
Actually, if you and your opponent each had 10 chips with the blinds at 1-2 the optimal defense will win 51.5% of the time. If you both have 50 chips then the optimal defense will win 60% of the time.
So don't write the push every hand idea off too quickly. For example, "optimal defense" would imply that your opponent is folding hands like AK when they're behind. However, against someone who always moves in it's tough to not call with Ax. You gain a few percentage points because he can never play optimally. On top of that, you can increase your odds substantially by not pushing every hand. It's even better if you only raise first in, which keeps you from being trapped.
I do it reasonably often, even if I do feel like a bit of an idiot. The only real questions are blind and stack sizes. It isn't uncommon for the blinds to be gigantic compared to both remaining stacks when an STT is winding down. It doesn't make sense to be too creative there. It's less common, but I sometimes end up massively outchipped. If I have say 10 blinds and my opponent has 100 then I'm reaching for the bazooka. Being a 10-1 dog to win and shortstacked I'm at least going out with a blast.
Of course, it's an entirely different scenario with deep stacks. You wouldn't really want to push every hand then.

Actually, that is not all that bad heads up.
If you don't want to do that, you could use Nash's Equilibrium: When first to act, push about the top 65% of hands. When second to act, push about the top 65% if your opponent tries to limp; when villain raises or goes all in ahead of you, push over or call the all in with about the top 58%. Deviate from this only when you have a very good reason for doing so, such as you have under 10 blinds, trapping, etc. Personally, I sometimes try to trap heads up with AA, KK, QQ, or AKs.
Even if your opponent knows exactly what you are doing (playing 65%/58%), it doesn't benefit villain to play anything other than 65%/58% since nothing will yield better than a 50% winrate. Few of your opponents will know to do that. Then if you throw in a little trapping, baiting, playing poker, etc. into the mix, you get the edge heads up.
All the best!!!
