Well, actually, no, I don't worry about my VP too much. Being a super tight player, I know there's a good chance I'll hover around 10 or less for a while, waiting for cards. Then a run comes and I'm up near 20. Starting out today, I had a nice rush of cards and was actually around 35 w/PFR of around 25. I tried to use that to my advantage until the cards ran cold, if anybody at the micro table even noticed.
And of course, my VP settled down to it's normal 20 or so. Switched tables and I was under 10 at that table for a while. But I don't play hands just to get my VP up.
But you make good points. I sometimes wonder why I keep my VP stat on the screen. I know how I play and what I'm trying to do. Obviously, I'm more interested in other people's VP/PFR/AG stats.
I played about 3 hours today. Not the mega-poker weekend I had hoped for. But I'm starving and am losing interest. So, off for some food and will jump back on in a little while. I'm up $1.20...which is almost 6.5bb/100 at .02/.05.
