This hand is hard to analyze in a vacuum without describing the dynamics of the match. For example, I almost never flat call a flop bet when I was the PFR so that should be pretty scary for him (he said himself he was worried about his kicker).

I would call the river. If Mew has A6, or something like that, just curse at the pokah gods and move on. I cannot remember the last time I folded 3 of a kind aces heads up.

Not very often. In fact, extremely rarely. Only when somebody gives me a heads up that you two, or any two from TP, are at it again...at the same table.
