hey everybody
i am flying to madrid tomorrow to study (:):)..yeah right ??!!! ) till the end
of May, instead of going back to good old Boston so i just wanted to say
bye to all the people on this forum since i wont be much online at all. This place is really nice poker wise but
also in terms of the spirit here and the good nature of the people.
i read p5s, 2+2, neverwinprk and FCP a couple of times and this is definetly a greatt community
thnx for all the discussions and poker talk. these holidays were huge for
me in terms of poker winnings and i attribute part of my success to you
guys.
i will be playing at the WOODS
(foxwoods) next year in the fall quiet a
lot so maybe i can actually meet some of the people here in real live
we could have like a Las Vegas trip but for the other coast
anyways...best of luck in poker...and enjoy life

Have fun! I've been to Madrid and let me tell you it's one of the most beautiful places in the world. The culture is to die for. I ate paella everyday, so if you get a chance, eat some for me!!

caught some free wireless in my apartament....madrid is awesome. living with a friend in the center of the city, la plaza de espana, can walk to any bar/club
so far just amazing....no school for a week, just orientation and meeting new people, waking up at 2:30pm and going to bed after 5
we all know that we dont really learn a languange ina classroom anyways and the best way to learn is to just speak it
but yeah, such nice people and beautiful city as merv said...

getting 5 bar wireless here since this monday - long live the internet
as i said, its amazing and i am really glad that I came. sucha a relief after the daily grind at college - practice, school, work, sleep - repeat 6 days a week.
yes there is a casino but its kinda far away. so far its been a bit hectic but we are going to go check it out soon. of course, now that inrenet is works i kinda want to play online but i emptied all of my accounts except for bodog which annoys me now. so my roommate transfered me a couple of hundred to party and i am starting at the bottom of the food chain again.
party beta is fucking amazing by the way so i can 6 table 25nl and in two days busted a bunch of abc poker players. i keep telling myself not to bluff past 4th street no matter how weak the are but just cant help myself and of course i get called by tplk or med pair for their whole stack.....
anyways.,..madrid is awesome as i said. although i got very sick yesterday and skipping class till friday. fainted 2x because of such high fever...or at least i think that thats why. but i drink like 10l of water a day - thats the best way to get better.
have to get better by this weekend because a bunch of my friends are coming from paris/london and i cant be in bed....
ok, for everybody on this forum. i highly recomend ...in fact, u guys must quit ur jobs/poker/school and come to las fallas. its one of the top 10 best parties in the world. probably not as good as Ibizza closing parties but should be fantastic. see here http://www.maximonline.com/articles/ind ... ?a_id=6853
as for the girls ...well spanish girls are hard in the sense that they are kind of doing their own thing and the pretty ones are usually surrouned by like 12093109238123 dudes.
nevertheless, girls here are much better than in the states ...no offense
for ex. the program that i am with has 145 people, 15 are guys, 6-8 of them are gay. i didnt figure all of them out yet and the rest are girls. there is one really beautiful girl but thats about it
