There IS a chance you have the best hand (AK, QQ), but it could get very expensive to get to river. Given the way its gone, I wouldn't fault you for folding the turn. Sometimes you fold the best hand. *shrugs*

Well, you have 4 clean outs (to a possible split) and another 2 tainted outs, so let's say 4 outs on average assuming you are behind a set of JJ or KK. I hate hands like this because there's a chance villains have AK, QQ, AA. Getting 7-1 I think its a fold that I should make more often.

I came across a few similar situations yesterday when I was lucky enough to get AA (which really hasn't happened for a while).
Pretty much the same board and same play. I slowed down and the guy ended up having AJ....so you never really know.
For this one, paying only another 3BB is wishful thinking. I'd say you are looking at putting another $16 in at least to find out you are beat by two pair and a set, maybe the straight.
You only have 3 super clean outs (:Qd: is semi-suspect). You may have 2 outs for the set but that is very easily counterfeit. Maybe 6 total outs to hit a better two pair.
Assuming you are behind, you'd need 6:1 ('cause I don't think SB is just calling) and you don't have it cleanly. Tack on a bit for the chance you still have the best hand and I'd still fold it.
If BB just calls this turn, I totally call and check/call one bet on the river.
These really are the times when having AA sucks 'cause it'll cost you more when you overplay it against obvious resistance.

Well, just to show what a stellar player I am, I end up calling the 2 bets, even though I was having trouble putting them on hands I could beat, and SB actually folds. I c/c the river and the guy turns up...
AK???
I have no idea what the other guy could possibly have had. Maybe 88 or 99?
