Kedoran wrote:I probably reraise preflop with the AK. Second hand you have kings preflop and thats all im saying.
?? He did reraise preflop with AK. The 3rd raise isn't a full raise and doesn't open up the table again. Other than that, standard play.
The kings would be a tough fold. I donkey push. He doesn't put in 1/2 his stack without AA or KK though based on your reads.

I'm pushing and hoping to see AKs or QQ. He may have the other KK too.

What exactly does "donkey push" mean anyway?
The AKs hand, villian had J-9o. I guess I was thinking maybe I should have pushed the turn? But, on second thought... poker is about tricking your opponents into making mistakes right? Why should I let him make a good fold? I need to do a quick calculation to see if he had implied odds to make this call on the turn.
KK hand. This is one of those hands that comes up when I know I am beat, but donkey push anyway. The only hands villian is doing this with is KK- AA. I cursed, pushed my KK, and was not surprised at all to see him flip AA.

It's just a term I use.
Donkey push: Moving your chips into the pot hoping your oppenent doesn't have the hand you think he does.

I love this term, can I modify it's meaning? How about, "moving your chips into the pot hoping your opponent doesn't have the hand you KNOW he has".
Sadly, we've all been there.
