I don't like your bet on the end.
You weren't entirely sure you had the best hand (as evidenced by you checking the turn after the BB checks), and you could keep the pot small on the river by checking it down, but you bet anyways.
You obviously have to call his raise on the end though. His actions could mean an aggressive K-face. He may have put you on a medium PP, and your bet/check on the flop/turn was a lead out followed by you fearing the Ace.
I woulda checked it down on the end. But then again, I am more a conservative player, and that's the safe route.

Preflop is good. I bet 200 on the flop, fire another barrel on the turn maybe 300-350 and go broke on the river. If I don't improve on river, I would check.
Edited because I didn't realize it was a 6 max.

I think folding preflop is ok. In a cash game, it's a raise, but we're in a STT here.
I would c-bet a little more, around 200 or so on the flop. Depending on how saucy I'm feeling or how many tables I have going, I either bet or check the turn. River action would depend on turn action. As played, I think it's ok. Obviously A9 isn't the best hand in the world, so once he shows interest in sticking around I want to get to showdown cheaply.

No folding preflop in 6max.
150 is fine, 200 is better preflop.
I also prefer a slightly larger bet on the flop, something like 250 or at least 200.
Checking behind on the turn is fine for pot control, but you usually have the best hand.
On the river I would probably check behind. Villain will figure you for an ace anyway and won't call and lose with a king often enough to make it worth your bet, considering that he might raise you (which he did in this case).
Obviously still call the river, you beat lots of aces and have good odds to call. Don't go broke with this hand, since villain knows you have an ace.
