$13 (6-max): on a steal and flop a draw

BB is loose preflop but tightish postflop, that is, he has a decently high fold to flop bet %. Flop seems standard to me so my big question is the turn. Now I've got a pair+draw. Check or bet here? If we bet how much?

OK, so I eventually decide to check hoping to get a free card, but that doesn't happen. Pretty crappy spot. Am I just supposed to fold now?
