You are only really borked if he actually has trip sixes, and then you're not way behind even then, against any other single pair you're in good shape and villain really shouldn't be calling. I think this is fairly standard for online at this level, though I don't often raise preflop with suited Ace x as the only flops you can really like are NFD types where you get to push.

I just want to echo the part about suited aces.
I'm not even really a fan of limping without at least the button.

Just making sure, because when this comes up it's the play I make (I don't usually raise suited Aces from CO but Button was a nit so I was playing 2 buttons.)
Anyway, yeah I stacked off ASAP to his 44, lol ouch. Didn't expect him to play a monster so fast but he played it right so kudos.

That's kind of a cooler to be drawing dead like that. I've lost a couple of huge pots to flopped full houses and merrily continued semibluffing my way to the nut flush only to hit and still lose. Actually quite gut wrenching, worse than being badbeat, but then the odds of being up against a flopped full are something like 500:1 I think. It's a very high number anyway, enough to make this profitable. We can't be complete nits.
Watching villains draw to their straights and flushes on a double paired board is.. exciting though.
